WE BELIEVE, TEACH AND CONFESS
  • The Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God, His unchanging and error-free message to men of all times.

  • There is only one God. He is three distinct and individual persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  • God created man holy and without sin. But man, of his own free will, fell into sin and thus brought sin upon the whole human race.

  • Therefore, sin is in all men by nature, and reveals itself in every violation of God's holy will by thought, word, or deed.

  • The wages of sin is death and damnation in hell, an eternal agonizing separation from the holy and loving God.

  • But God so loved the world that He sent His one and only Son, Christ Jesus, to save the world. Jesus did this by living a perfect life for us and dying in our place on the cross.

  • God now accepts us, not because of anything we have done or will do, but because of what Jesus has done. We have eternal life by God's undeserved love.

  • This glorious fact is accepted by faith, which is worked and strengthened in the hearts by God the Holy Spirit through the Bible, Baptism, and the Lord's Supper.

  • By faith alone in the saving work of Jesus, we are heirs of the glories of heaven. While yet on earth we want to show our love for God, who first loved us, by living a godly life.

  • At our death we will inherit the full glories of everlasting life with Jesus in heaven, where there shall be no more pain or sorrow, and all tears shall be wiped from our eyes.




For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--not by works, so that no one can boast.  Ephesians 2:8–9
